Katie brings a wealth of experience to Sage Femme as a home birth Mom and as a
professional with over 30 years of work in the field of housing people with
disabilities. "Crecelius helps nonprofits...secure local government

During the past 16 years Katie has completed 20 low-income rental housing
developments for various non-profit organizations in the Bay Area. She presently
has six additional projects in various stages of development.
Katie has a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of Pittsburgh and is a licensed Real Estate Broker. In addition to her professional work, Ms. Crecelius has volunteered in various capacities. She is a founding member of the Marin Environmental Housing Collaborative and is currently Chair of the Novato Housing Coalition and a member of the Marin Housing Council. She is also a past Novato Housing and Services Commissioner and a former Chair of the Marin Economic Commission. She is the recipient of the 2004 Beryl H. Buck Award for individual achievement from the Marin Community Foundation.
